If you and your team are interested in adopting a school, please contact Peggy Wolstoncroft at Peggy@TheEducationPartnership.org or (412) 922-6500. We serve schools in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland counties, and with your help, we can make sure every child in the region is equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
Adopting a school is a unique and rewarding way for local businesses, organizations, families and volunteer groups to give back to the community and invest in its future. Every year, we connect our sponsors with schools in need, and facilitate the collection and creation of "Power Tools Homework Kits" for its students.
Here’s how it works:
Connect with a school in your community
Adopt a local school that’s eligible for help and share in the cost of providing supplies.
Get the team together to assemble kits
Work with your group to build “Power Tools Homework Kits” and build camaraderie while you’re at it.
Head to school and hand out supplies
See the impact of your efforts first-hand as we distribute the kits to kids at school.

This was the best charity event that I have involved my employees with in years. Our team enjoyed the camaraderie of packing the school supply kits and then presenting those kits to the excited students at Pittsburgh Whittier was even more rewarding! My two children participated and were both deeply touched.
